"Based on a true story and directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, this Japanese indie film follows the experiences of the 12 year old protagonist as he takes care of his three younger siblings after being abandoned by their single mother in their Tokyo apartment. This movie is incredibly emotional and based off the 1988 Sugamo child abandonment case."

Currently Watching: True Blood - S1, E9.

Current thoughts: I cannot decide if I love it or hate it yet. A classmate at college recommended it to me, and he and I have lots in common. Hmmmm... So far, I think it's fine. It is very 2008, and the cinematography is nothing vastly impressive, and the side stories are entertaining. However, the show being entertaining does not automatically mean it's good.
